FAQS

GENERAL

  • This is my first time. Do I need indoor cycling or rhythm boxing experience?
No, you don’t! The great thing about indoor cycling and rhythm boxing is that anyone can do it regardless of fitness level. Learn more about what to expect from your first cycling class here and your first rhythm boxing class here.
  • Is there a beginner class?
All classes are made for all fitness levels, but we have an indoor cycling class called Jumpstart that is great for first timers, as it focuses on the fundamentals. How tough your ride will be is entirely up to you. You will always be in control of your bike's resistance. For your first time, the most important thing is to have fun!
  • How old do I have to be to join?
You have to be at least 14 years old and 4’11”. If you are under the age of 18, your parent/legal guardian must sign your waiver form.
  • Where is your studio?
Electric Studio has three fully furnished indoor cycling studios located in Bonifacio Global City, Podium Mall Ortigas and Molito Alabang. Rhythm boxing is only available in Podium at the moment. You can find our complete addresses and maps here.
  • Where can I park?
In BGC, basement parking is available in Eight Forbes Town Road building (entrance by The Marketplace), Forbeswood Parklane (across Eight Forbes Town Road building) and Forbes Town in Burgos Circle. In Podium Ortigas, basement parking is available in the Podium Mall. In Alabang, parking is available in the Molito complex.
  • Do you have showers and lockers?
Yes, we do. Our showers are stocked with bath and body products so you can head straight to where you need to be right after class. Our lockers have coded keypads so leave your locks behind.
  • What happens if I arrive late for class?
Your spot may be given away to the waitlist if you do not call or check in the front desk 5 minutes before class start time. If you are running late, please call the studio and we will hold your spot until 5 minutes after class starts. For safety reasons, riders/boxers are not allowed to enter the bike/box room past 5 minutes after class starts. First time riders/boxers must arrive at least 15 minutes before class and complete pre-class requirements.
  • What is an Electric Power Pass?
It is a special package that gives riders a chance to book classes in advance of sign ups, priority on waitlists, a personal concierge, and a complimentary bottle of water at every ride. Shoot us an email at [email protected] and we can give you more details!

YOUR FIRST CLASS

  • What should I wear?
For indoor cycling, we recommend form-fitting sportswear, particularly tight leggings for women. It can get really hot so wear anything you don't mind sweating in. And don't forget your socks! For rhythm boxing, we recommend breathable, sweat-wicking sportswear. Sneakers must be worn for all classes. We recommend that they support your ankles, have a low platform and good grip. Don’t forget your hand wraps!
  • Can I bring my own bike shoes?
Sure, as long as they are Look Keo compatible. If you don't have shoes, no worries! We have shoes readily available for you to use.
  • Do I need to bring hand wraps and gloves for boxing?
Gloves and hand wraps are mandatory for class. We have complimentary glove rentals. Should you wish to bring your own, we recommend a 14oz boxing glove. You may bring your own hand wraps or purchase Electric Studio quick wraps in the studio. Note that when you bring your own hand wraps, our crew will not be to assist in wrapping them for you as we all have different ways to support our hands. An instructional video will be provided upon request.
  • How early should I come?
For safety reasons, first time riders and boxers must arrive at least 15 minutes before class, check in with the front desk and complete pre-class requirements. Otherwise you may not be allowed to join the class.
